Has anyone fitted a Givi screen to the R1200R ? I have a 2015 and have used the Ztechnic and Puig, but I would like a better option.

Anyone ?

Hi there

Not fitted the Givi but have the Ztechnic. I bought the medium size one second hand. Great screen but found a lot of buffeting affecting me (i'm 5ft10). I fitted one of those cheap spoilers purchased from a well known auction site and that improved things. I also copied an idea that someone on this site had in that i bought the small Ztechnic screen (screen and grommets as mounting bracket is the same) direct from the manufacturer allowing me to swap between screen easily. For me the small screen works far better. No more turbulance or buffeting. Hope this is of help.

I have the ZTechnic Sport, am 5'11" and the wind hits me about chin high. That's with a Russell Day Long seat and HeliBars risers providing for an upright posture. It's tolerable on secondary roads and moulded ear plugs (60-65mph max speeds) but not real quiet at interstate speeds. Buffeting is minimal until being hit by truck turbulence. Jim
